The Bioness L300 Go FES system improves key features of the award-winning functional electrical stimulation device for foot drop to provide unmatched freedom and independence for people living with stroke, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury or incomplete spinal cord injury.
Bioness
Through an adaptive, learning algorithm, the L300 Go detects gait events, providing stimulation precisely when needed making it easier for users to clear their foot at different walking speeds, on stairs, ramps, and while navigating uneven terrain. The system accurately delivers electrical stimulation, resulting in reduced falls and increased user confidence. A 3-axis gyroscope and accelerometer are embedded in the Stimulator to monitor user movement in all three kinematic planes and deploy stimulation in 0.01 seconds of detecting a valid gait event.
Our orthotist has 10 years of experience working with FES devices and specifically the Bioness system. We are the Bioness distributor in Saskatchewan and in Kingston, ON. Screening appointments can be arranged at both our Kingston clinics, free of charge.

Bioness in Saskatchewan:
V2innovations started small in Saskatchewan, and we are still tied to the Land of Living Skies as the Bioness distributor in the province. We work closely with Brandy Green from ARC Orthopaedic & Sport Rehab in Regina.
After receiving her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Saskatchewan, Brandy moved on to graduate from the Masters of Science in Physical Therapy program at the University of Alberta. That was by no means the end of her education as she continued to develop her physical therapy skills by attending several post-graduate courses including: Mulligan, Orthopaedic Manual Therapy Levels, Matheson Functional Capacity Evaluation, and myofascial release courses.
Brandy can be reached at physioonthego@yahoo.ca to schedule a screening appointment. In Saskatchewan, partial funding may be available for FES devices through SAIL – Saskatchewan Aids for Independent Living.
