Amanda’s Story

I have been a client of AJ‘s for the past few years and have nothing but good things to say about him and Jana! They are amazing people who make a difference in the lives of each person that they meet. They are genuinely good people and I absolutely adore them!

I am 25 years old and have Spina Bifida which affects my mobility and requires me to wear leg braces, use a crutch and wheelchair. I am a recent graduate of the honors bachelor of behavioral psychology program at St. Lawrence College. I  am currently spending much of my time these days working for True North Aid. We’re a group that helps support the various needs of people living in the north. My project specifically helps collect medical supplies and supports to ship to northwestern Ontario for the Northern Chiefs council which supports six communities north of Thunder Bay. They’re technically called Keewaytinook Okimakanak Tribal Council. We’ve done a lot of fundraisers and awareness for Indigenous health and it’s my passion to bring equality and reconciliation to those communities.
