Ottobock
Ottobock launched its first micro-processor controlled knee, the C-Leg in 1997 and is a leader in terms of the technology involved in the modular prosthetic limb design. Our clinicians use various Ottobock foot/ankle and knee components, such as the Meridian & Empower feet as well as the C-Leg, Genium, X3 or Kenovo knees.
Ossur
The Ossur RHEO KNEE and RHEO KNEE XC come with ÖSSUR LOGIC software, which enables professionals to adjust easily the functionality for each user and access valuable activity reports.
In addition to checking knee status and battery charge level, the new, enhanced user mode offers access to a specially designed training program. The Össur Logic Training feature enables Clinicians to empower users with easy exercises to practice at home and at their own pace, improving confidence and gait. Exercise includes symmetric weight bearing, rolling over the toe, more symmetric sitting down and stair descent.
Very Good Knee (VGK)
VGK Very Good Knee is an energy-dependent hydraulic knee unit with a polykinetic processor, whose bending resistance changes dynamically during each step due to the patented fluidic technology. This system auto-adjusts to the patient’s walking pace, securing the foot to be in time ahead of you.
Socket-less Sockets
Martin Bioness, based in USA, developed the conforming Socket-less Socket™ which matches to the ever-changing human body, versus the body having to match to a rigid bucket.
They eliminated a static socket shape, rigid brims, and encapsulated heat and socks. Their life-changing sockets have real-time adjustability to be as comfortable as a socket should be.
