Martin Robertson BSc, CP(c)
Martin (Marty) is a Canadian Board Certified Prosthetist and joined V2innovations as co-owner in 2017 after working in Kingston for almost 20 years.
He completed his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo and his Clinical Prosthetic training at Northwestern University in Chicago. Following his residency in Madison Wisconsin and his American Board Certification he accepted a position at St Mary’s of the Lake Hospital in Kingston. Since then, he has been providing Prosthetic care to Amputees of all ages and abilities in Kingston and the surrounding area.
Marty is well-known by his clients for his excellent client care and focus on finding unique solutions to fit their lifestyle and personal goals. He has a number of high activity level clients with prostheses custom made for skiing, snowboarding, running, swimming and even circus arts.
Marty is a guest lecturer with the School of Rehabilitation Therapy at Queen’s University, and contributes to ongoing studies in the Mechanical and Materials Engineering Department. He is also a member of Orthotics Prosthetics Canada and the Ontario Association of Prosthetists and Orthotists.
